I cropped out the rest of the picture besides the sign, adjusted some contrast and color, and brightened it up. You can see that the right one is much righter and attractive than the left.
I cropped the picture so that it was just the Thayer St. sign. Then I adjusted contrast, levels, and color to a nice bright position. Finally, I put a nice filter on it, and it really brightens up the front of the brochure.
I used the polygonal lasso for the first time, and it actually came out very nice! I also just brightened the image a little, but I didn't do much else because I wanted it to look just like the picture so that it would be an accurate representation of the food at Gourmet Bagel Ole.
